My favorite movie

I have a lot of favorites movies, I really like to watch movies, but, as I can't talk about all of them, I had to choose one... And I chose
A Clockwork Orange.

A Clockwork Orange is an old drama, crime and Sci-Fi movie, it was first shown on 1971 and it was directed by Stanley Kubric, a famous director expert on this kind of movies.

In the story is all about four "ultraviolent" friends that like seeing and making violence.

There is a scene where they go to a house of a woman, and they steal things form the house, and they hit, rape and kill the woman, in my opinion is the most hard scene of the movie, in what respects to physical violence. The principal character is Alex DeLarge, and the story shows how, because of the violence, he stands alone and crazy, 'cause he's arrested and convicted of murder and rape, and his friends are not, so, Alex is sentenced to a new treatment that the government creates, "ludovico's program".

This program is about creating shocks through images containing ultraviolence on a big screen, applying some classic music.

They force Alex to do the treatment. The objective of this treatment is to make him better, 'cause he's completely insane, and SICK. So, when, he becomes "healthy", he finishes his sentence and he is finally released. When he's free he sees his other three friends, and two of them were cops. They hit Alex... the others "ultraviolent" friends became "normal" people... without being convicted for their crimes. When Alex came out of the treatment he got a terrible trauma... He can`t listen to classic music anymore, 'cause when he listens to it, he goes crazy...  In the final scenes, Alex goes to the house of a writer, whose wife had been raped by the ultraviolent guys before. The writer dopes Alex, and he locks him in a room, meanwhile, in the other rooms of the house, classic music starts sounding (the same that Alex listened in ludivico's treatment), and he jumps from the window, 'cause he can't stand it.
Then Alex get a long recovery on the hospital, and the guy who was in charge of ludovico's treatment, offers him a "good" job, whit a good remuneration; he will be the face of the new political campaign showing how the Ludovicos Program works.  Then the movie shows a little surreal fantasy,  Alex in the snow, and telling to us that "he was completly healthly".
I chose this movie, cause i think that is great, and it shows how some treatments, or sentences can destroy the life of a person, who, indeed, was a "bad" person, but, what is the limit to try to make it a better person? When the human rights can't be respected an when they can apply this sentences that destroy the life of the people? A criminal is a sick person? We are going to change it destroying his human essence?

I really, REALLY recommend this movie, it could change your way of thinking, and show you another way to see life; if violence comes from biological or social facts.

So, here is the trailer.... watch it!
